Beautiful and high-quality work deserves to be well documented. For our clients, for communication purposes, and certainly for internal use as well. Why and how do we do that? That’s something we'd like to share with you. For example, in September, we were welcomed at Drukkerij van Eerd in Tilburg and at Green Square Logistics IV in Aalsmeer. Both projects were completed in the first half of 2023, and our photographer captured beautiful, and useful, images for both.
Good preparation is half the battle
Before each photo session, we make extensive preparations. We create schedule in which we define what exactly we want to photograph. We do this based on site plans and floor plans, among other things. We also replicate the positions of some renders (which are visualizations of the project concept created during the design phase). This allows you to see the visual contrasts between the initial concepts and the final execution. It's really cool!
Dedicated photographer
Quadrant4 has been working with photographer John van Groenedaal for many years with great pleasure. He captures both the interior and exterior of our projects in a very attractive way. John has his own distinctive style and, very importantly, a keen eye for detail. He takes beautiful shots of both the architecture as a whole and unique features or details. On top of that, it's great that, due to our long collaboration with John, the style of images on our website is consistent.
Safety, privacy, GDPR
Of course, we coordinate photography sessions with our clients and other involved parties. This includes, for example, informing employees in advance to safeguard their privacy. And during the shoot, John and the involved Quadrant4 employee are usually "hard to miss." They are easily recognizable to everyone by their vests or name badges. It's all about transparency. This way, nobody feels "ambushed."
Capturing details for quality purposes
Every architectural delivery has its own specific details. These often relate to technology, but exceptional craftsmanship or materialization frequently makes a difference too. We like to document these details meticulously. The images showcase the expertise and quality of our work and help us discuss and establish new quality standards for our architectural team. Continuous improvement in execution.
