Steketee is one of the leading companies in weed control technology for precision agriculture. Today, the company is part of the 7th generation of the LEMKEN family business and the production facility is located in Stad aan 't Haringvliet. Since 2000, the focus has been on intelligent camera concepts with plant recognition for automatic control systems. Due to the increasing demand, now is the time to facilitate Steketee within the LEMKEN group with a renewed accommodation. The new accommodation for the Steketee machine factory is currently being built in Dinteloord and will be completed at the end of 2023.

Bringing 2 brands together requires the involvement of staff. Together with a delegation from the management team and the interior working group, we discussed the details of the hull construction plans during various meetings in the summer of 2022.
Together we raised the ambitions. We discussed identity, routing of external visitors and mutual colleagues. The connecting factor within production, the office and the Agroforum (customer experience center) is hospitality. For that reason, the type of catering and the canteen concept were extensively researched. Healthy food should not be missed during this beautiful new step.
At floor plan level, space and privacy have been created around sanitary groups and pantries. Even though various teams are going to work in an open office concept, focus and meeting rooms act as space breakers. The boardroom has been given an exceptional location with a view of and direct access to the roof terrace.
Yes, naturally it is sustainable, but above all light & acoustically perfect!
In its core the accommodation is neutral, warm, and timeless. The design features the entrance for staff which is like a corridor that guides them to the staff facilities. In addition to blue LEMKEN accents, Quadrant4 has added green in the design through plants and mint green colors on industrial partition walls. The steel glass walls give a nod to the old industrial color. The office and meeting places have the same appearance and are acoustically equipped with soft floor, wall, and ceiling finishes.

Our new construction includes a production and office accommodation with close and collaborative mutual involvement. Together with Quadrant4, our owner Nicola Lemken, the interior working group, and a delegation from the management team, we defined the office concept for LEMKEN / Steketee. As a manufacturing company, many employees are present at our accommodation, which we want to facilitate as much as possible. Looking to the future, this workplace must be pleasant and attractive for the current staff and contribute to attracting new talent. In addition, Quadrant4 looks beyond just the interior. They also provide support in the field of audiovisual resources and further architectural development.
Together we look forward to the moment when the building will be put into use, and we are excited to experience our new way of working.
