Qollege, Interieur architectuur
Every quarter, we organize an internal "Qollege" for our colleagues, where we inspire and inform each other about current topics and innovations in our field. During the October living month of 2024, the college was hosted by the interior team at Quadrant4. An interior design can be all-encompassing, and for this session, we focused on the theme of ceilings!
Recently, we completed a project for vanE Beheer in Oisterwijk, which served as the central thread in our story.
What helped various parties during the execution phase of the vanE Beheer project was the coordinated ceiling plan. A building modeler and project manager from Quadrant4 gave us a behind-the-scenes look. They took the Quadrant4 team through the process of how these drawings were created and which underlying documents were processed and coordinated.
During the meeting, we discussed the following installation components:
Each component had its own color on the drawing, making it easy to distinguish between them. This facilitates the reading of the drawings during the various inspection rounds in the execution phase. Our aesthetic focus was on the rhythm and alignment of the different elements in the ceiling. Despite our thorough preparation, there are always differences encountered in practice. We reviewed some examples from our photography database together.
In the entrance area of the vanE Beheer project, we used a stretch ceiling. This ceiling was printed and featured a top-view logo, giving the space a spectacular character. AMB Design from Bladel handled the execution and was invited as a speaker at the college to share more about special designs.

AMB Design prefers to collaborate with the designer or architect at an early stage so that the technical feasibility can be guaranteed right away. The portfolio with references was highly inspiring for the Quadrant4 team. We’ll keep this in mind!
Finally, we went to see everything in practice, so the team took a walk to the vanE Beheer project on Heusdensebaan in Oisterwijk. Besides the ceiling, there was so much more to admire! Soon, we will be able to photograph the completed project and showcase it on our website.
Back at the office, a delightful snack and drinks awaited us. It was time to relax with a fun Quadrant4 interior quiz! Your home sometimes reveals who you are, so we took the test: “Can you guess which colleague this interior belongs to?”
The race for first place was incredibly tight, and the winners proudly accepted their prize! “Home is where the heart is”… a deliciously kitschy candy jar!
